Adiscon enters mobile computing market

Adiscon is dedicated to serve a real user need. Market research shows an increasing interest in mobile computing solutions. Smart handheld devices enable people to access any information from any place. Adiscon has decided to deliver top-quality, cost effective software to this market, to. As a Microsoft Certified Solution Provider, Adiscon focuses on the Pocket PC platform.

"The Pocket PC market is still a niche compared to the desktop market", says President Rainer Gerhards. "However, the market offers tremendous growth opportunities. We at Adiscon strongly believe that mobile computing will be the most important market in some years from now. Our entrance into this market at the current time shows our customer-driven long-term strategy. In fact, we do not expect quick return on investment. Adiscon's initial efforts will be in the personal productivity area. A new product - PocketPasswords - is launched today. PocketPasswords is an easy to use password manager for Pocket PCs. It is a relief for all of us with hundreds of passwords, especially on the web. PocketPasswords allows to access all of them with just a single master password.

Another product - PocketHostnames - is upcoming in the system tool area. PocketHostnames will solve wireless ActiveSync problems in remote environments. Watch for a separate news release to learn more details. This product is currently under development.

Adiscon also evaluates other areas where Pocket PC and other mobile devices - like smart phones - can be integrated into new and existing Adiscon products.
